is this mycromix bag fully colonized?

do they get as solid white looking as a brf cake? it's hard to tell with all the extra bits in the bag if it's solid or not, the spot at the bottom is just shading, it look like the rest of the bag, it's been 13 days at about 80F. assuming if these are considered colonized that they should be left 5-7 more days before spawning to dpoo, or no? they have been broken up and mixed around once already. thanks

thanks, thought so too, but this is the first bag and it's not's quite the solid white block i've seen in brf jars, but obviously it's a diff substrate so it's not surprising. think it's ready to go or best to let it sit for a few?

I'm a grain user myself and it doesn't really ever look like brf cakes. you could let it go a few days if you want to just make sure, but it looks ready to me.

Looks good, but after I see 100% of the outside colonized I wait about a week and then its usually ready.

Personal opinion: wait an extra day or two to be certain the inside is fully colonized.

Starting to spawn and finding a core of uncolonized BRF in the center just sucks...
