Really Big Pressure Cooker

I'm looking for a really big pressure cooker, something that can do say 100+ quarts at a time.

I think to do that large of an amount you would need an autoclave and not a pressure cooker....google autoclave and see what comes up....hope you have a couple few thousand to spare for something like that...

nobody pressure cooks 100 jars at a time, at that quantity spawn bags are used instead.

there are countless autoclaves that are large enough to drive a car into. Also a canning retort would be good. Just go ahead and get your 50k out of your wallet and count it before hand. Dont forget about the 60KW broiler needed...

get four presto 23 qt pressure cookers for 90.00 a piece, then you can do 60 qts at a time

I can spend a few g on an autoclave but autoclave are dry heat and we need moist heat. I would love to do a hundred bags at once. And Bear, how can I get 15 jars in each, 7 on the bottom facing up and 3 stacked on top of those is only 10 - laying the other jars on their sides would create excess water issues.

a few gs isnt going to get you an autoclave that wil do a hundred bags. also autoclaves are not all dry heat there are plenty of steam autoclaves that operate on 15psi of steam just like a pressure cooker.

So does anyone have any suggestions as to what autoclave I can get, wet steam, that will hold a hundred jars at a crack - I may as well use what I got and I got plenty of em.

He may well be reffering to using spawn bags in the prestos. 2 large spawn bags that have ~6qts worth of spawn in each one. Thats 48qts right there, prety close.
