![]() | Dedicated to Steeq! I know everyone recommended dunking before the first flush for invitro to me, but Steeq was the one that really got the ball rolling for me. Thanks for the positive vibes, everyone. Should have mushrooms real soon now. A good percentage of my cakes are looking like this today: ![]() Here's Air Mushrooms for y'all ![]() |

![]() | Glad to help out. It really made a difference for me, I think more so with invitro the pre-first flush dunk matters. Looks like you got some nice pinning there, thats crazy how that mushroom is growing. Is it coming out of the mycelium crawling up the jar?

![]() | Yeah, what happened is some of the mycelium stayed when I shook the cake into the bottom, and it started fruiting. Pretty hilarious. I'm interested to see how big those get. There are two of them. Great clustering on lots of the cakes. It's a shame I can't fruit them out of a terrarium. I'm afraid it'll just be too inhibiting in the jar. |

![]() | Yeah, that's odd how that happened. The trick if the cakes are too tight is to tilt them on their side while holding the jar and place a fan/blow dryer pointing at the cake daily to get FAE. Unless you can get the cake out without damaging the myc and fruits. I tapped it on the side of my door frame at the opening angling the jar and rotated it to get the cake out. But after some pins set in I just left them. After the first flush, the cakes will be smaller so you should be able to get them out to do FAE.
