    crazy myc.
    These are B+ cakes.I knew the myc. was growing wild on the cake but i lifted one up and found a huge ball of it that has grown into the perlite.Pretty cool looking but what do i do with it once the cakes need to be dunked?Do i take it off and trash it or put it back in the perlite?

    Now THAT is some agressive myc growth!

    Just pull it off when you get ready to dunk. Don't put it back in the Perlite (it will rot and become a contam vector).

    it trips me out because its still growing.its even grown over the lid and growing in the perlite and spreading through the perlite.ive not seen it get this aggressive.
