![]() | Wood lovers do need wood. Morels are nigh impossible to grow indoors; i don't think anyone has had any success with that, although with the ingenuity around here i wouldn't be surprised if someone has managed to pull it off. I think pans can be grown on bulk poo sub like a cubie, but not sure how well they would do on cakes.

![]() ![]() ![]() | You can grow just about any species mycelium using PF method but cubes are the only active shroom that fruits well on cakes.. The cake can be used to mix with wood or manure for fruiting a few species , like Azures or Pan cyans... |

![]() ![]() | I've grown cubes on a woodlover substrate, and blue oysters on only straw and cowflop. SSOOOO... anyway, I bet damn near anything will grow in a good horsepoo/straw/verm or adaptation thereof. By adaptation, I mean add a little wood for woodlovers... I really want to try a high-turnover oyster grow on just newspaper... a little LC and the cost per would be minimal. Everytime I want to know something here, I get at least a weeks reading, all of it informative. Ya gotta love it. Good luck! Catdaddy
