Your Favorite Jar Substrate For Tubs, Bulk Substrate?

Hey everyone I'm just wondering what's your favorite or preferred substrate when preparing jars for the purpose of later spawning to monotubs, and your favorite bulk substrate when preparing those monotubs. Everyone's opinions and insights are welcome.

my favorite spawn medium is organic rye berry.
My favorite substrate medium is horsemanure / wheatstraw at a 50/50 ratio.
    Pasteurized and yummy.

I also prefer grains such as Rye and Wheat, but you can also use cakes for spawn. I've done that a few times and it really does work well.
As to the sub, I like a good compost, I make mine out i H poo and straw, with a few other things added.

Rye spawned to wheat straw is quick and reliable and the price is not that bad
