looking for any caerulipes (bluefoots) cultivation info

Grabbed myc from a site, growing in box elder. Took wood chunks, ropy myc and dirt areas around wood it was growing in. Froze it, tubbed and cased with coco. Myc seems to devour coco, and despite just grabbing it out of the woods with our dirty hands, and putting it in a bag rolling around in the truck, it seems relatively contaminant free. Only some other yellow myc from another type of woodlover (not fast growing like the psil.) is growing in with the other wood chips, but removed easily enough. Myc propagates readily on the chips, and likes the 12 hrs fluorescent light I give it. Room stays between 75-80 degrees, 90% hum. Should I drop temp to 60 when I wanna fruit? Not finding much info on these excellent little fungi!! If i'm going to be unsuccessful with fruiting, the least I can do is grow lots of myc and disperse it in areas like I found them in. - Soaking any mushrooms picked in the wild should have the leftover water returned to the forest, because of the spores it contains. I do it with my morels in the spring to some success, usually in the following year or two.

Some mushrooms need certain microbes in order to fruit, the mycellium would still run, just wouldn't fruit. I am not sure if this particular species needs them but it's worth checking into. The microbes you would need would probably be found in straw, or dung, or some other natural ingredients. I am by far not an expert so hopefully somebody with more experience will be by shortly with more precise info. If you use any straw make sure you pasteurize, NOT STERILIZE!! Pasteurizing means to keep it up to around 160 degrees F, for like an hour and a half. Don't let it get to the boiling point except for maybe in the very beginning. I hope you have some luckbecause we need all the info we can get on the bluefoot. I don't know if this is against the ruls or not but can you let us know the region, or maybe even the state? If i's against the rules to ask about the state then cool but it really would be helpful to know where this very elusive mushroom is hiding.

I live in WV, and only know of a couple spots, but they are around low lying areas close to streams/ small rivers that have a tendency to flood. The receding waters leave behind sticks and branches in low lying areas, usually around plants and trees or wherever the branches stop. I believe this also helps carry away colonized wood as well, so if an area is found, and you know the name of the waterway, then they should be found down river, too.
