Super cake mix questions

Im trying to get all the ingredients to hippies super cake mix and it's proving very expensive here in England. I found "bee pollen" ... £5.06 !!!! That's about $8 USD !!! anyway haven't bought it yet but I will have too if I can't find anywhere cheaper. My questions are, where would I but blue and yellow corn meal ??? Can't seem to see it in any health stores but I do have a few more to look in but never even heard of "blue and yellow corn meal" same goes for "cottonseed" where would I buy/find that ?

Last question, is "nutritional yeast" the same as this yeast here, "brewers yeast" sold in a health shop ? http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/pag...earchimage.y=0

I can see all thses ingredient building up a sizeable sub-total

Thanks for any help guys and gals.

Don't mean to keep on or to be annoying but after some shopping today I have managed to find most of the ingredients

Flaxseeds
Bee pollen
Coarse corn meal (It's called Polenta here in the UK)
Nutritional yeast
Coconut (fine)

My question(s) is the ingredient list on the coconut is "Coconut, preservative: sulphur dioxide" and on the fron of the packet it says "Desiccated Coconut fine". Is this ok to use?

Still searching for "Blue corn meal" and "cottonseed meal", im going to buy Kelp meal of the net as that's the only place to buy it unless I pay and arm and a leg for a few capsules in the local health store.

I have not tried the supercake formula, but Hippie says he uses unsweetened organic coconut from a natural food store in his original thread in the archives. I would think if it's organic there would be no chemical additives/preservatives, but i don't know if that would hurt if that's all you can find.

Hopefully someone else will chime in here.

BTW, it's ok to bump your thread if you haven't gotten an answer yet. There can be a lot of traffic in the Growing forum so don't get discouraged if your thread falls from the top without getting an answer.

Thanks Bev, I took the cocnut shreds back to the store as I found at least 2 dead beetles inside the packet that was sealed ... Nasty Did mangage to find organic coconut though so all good.

I now have all the ingredients but will be missing cottonseed meal and blue corn meal of the list but will be adding soya flour instead. Can't get cottonseed meal here in the city as I believe a live stock feed and blue corn meal is not sold in any shops here in Engalnd, I was told to try a ethnic mexican/south american store but none of those either. Not sure how important those two are and what soya flour will add but we shall see.

Thanks again
