Cold Tea

Simple question ... Can mushy tea be made effectively with cold water, or is the heat key to the transfer of the sillycybin? I make my tea and freeze it immediately for later use (preferred method of storage and ingestion), and am wondering if I could be getting more out of them...

warm water (~100F) will have much better alkaloid solubility . make sure the water is acidic . this temperature won't have a significant decrease in potency .

lemmon juice is fine . citric acid is a little cleaner . you can get some from the bottom of a packet of sour patch kids , or just try to find at a nutrition suppliment store .
