Drying Shrooms

ok so i posted my idea on a drying box a couple weeks back, got A lot good feedback on the idea, so i decided to move forward with it. It works excellent, drys the shrooms cracker dry in a bout a day and a half, with no dessicant, theres no need for it this thing kicks ass.... heres the pics

cool! so you put the mushrooms inside that net area and just have two fans blowing from both sides?

I went to the local Wally World last night and to my surprise was DAMPRID! The reason this is so significant to me is because i spent well over 2 hours one day lookin for it at a different wally world and the home depot. No body knew what i was talkin about. When you ask the store clerks/workers they just give you that far-away "WTF" look. A lot of UGHHHHHH's/hmmmmmmmsss.

Anyways to those of us who may have had the same problem, the desicant(DAMPRID) is next to the trash bags...Not the paint not the kitty litter, not the houshold appliances. The trash isle.Lol. I was flabergasted when i found it, not looking for it....hahhaa. Pulls the moister out quick and easy for fast care-free drying.

Leave it to Wal-Mart to put products next to each other that have nothing to do with each other. The wally world in my town has the children toy section then lighting fixtures and paint next to that. "hey lets get a GI JOE, whats around the other corner? OMG its floresant light tubes, and lead based paint! YAY!" retards...

this is exactly how it works, inside the net basket i put the shrooms, one fan blowing on them one fan blowing out, i do not use the damp-rid, there is no need for it, this get tem "cracker dry"

actually one question on it...How did you wire the computer fans? Just off a powerblock from an old system or did you hard wire them to an old cell phone charger? (or whatever.)

found a 12v DC and hard wired them both, i think the power block came from an old set of computer speakers

Sooo groovy thanks! I built a stir table using a HUGE computer fan and an old cd case (thank you vaults!) Going to have to do this one over the weekend. The woman really loves it when I break out the spare pooter part box and the soldering iron. She keeps hearing ambulance sirens when I do she says!
