 |  Decorating mushrooms before drying them 4 a birthday present...
for a future birthday present to one of my friends, I want to give him a couple of grams of decorated shrooms. I figure the time to apply "whatever" would be right before drying so it would stick well and dry together. ANyone have any safe suggestions of what could be applied to the mushroom to give it that exta sparkle, color, or "whatever" ? Thanks again 4 all the help!!!  |

Well, here's one I haven't seen before....  Seems to me that a gift of illegal narcotics only needs a plastic baggie for decor, although I have been known to give away satchels decorated with a blue 10mg valium in one corner, just 'cause I got so much class I'm no Martha Stewart, but I'd wait until after they dry - whatever you put on there will fall off as they shrinky dink, IMO. What an odd question... this is still tickling me... why would you want to decorate shrooms? Ah well, each to their own. Make sure it's edible, no glitter ... sprinkles? DMT crystals? Maybe paint on different colored food coloring? Invite your buddy to eat an eighth, and then PICTURE some neato decorations? soliver |

Use food coloring Do not do it on dry shrooms though as you risk them going moldy If they are fresh, soak them down in food coloring and dry them like you normally would Viola! Colored shrooms.

this is kinda humorous, interesting and definitely new to me... well if you wanted to adhere something to the DRY boomers, you can use rice paste or if you want sugar use royal icing. both rice paste and the icing can be used to adhere small candy's. You can get colored icing in the baking isle in your local supermarket or the craft store. rice paste at the craft store too. You can make your own Rice paste and icing also...

soak them in food coloring and get a bunch of different colored shrooms. Then carefully open a bag of skittles, and replace them with the multi colored shrooms. Then seal the bag up and mark out the K in skittles and make it an H for SHITTLES, be the rainbow
