newbie trying lc

just want to make sure that this is ok. i have 2 big monsters that im ready to clone. what im going to do is have 2 half pint jars with some shreds of glass, ill then pc jars for 20 min and let cool. once cool, ill take some tissue from inside the stem of mushroom off of each monster and place 1 in 1 jar and the other in the other jar. furiously shake and shred up mycellium, then with syringe draw some of this liquid out and in my 2 jars of pced popcorn ill shoot 1 of the syringes in 1 jar and the other in the other and then incubate both jars. ok thats the first thing. the second thing ill do, is put a teaspoon of karo(with real vanilla) in a half pint jar of sterilized water----2 jars (one 4 each mushroom) and then ill take some live tissue from each and put in seperate jars and then incubate my lc. my question is since im new at this and this will be my first shot at trying to clone and make a lc, does all this sound good or am i going to be making a major mistake because im missing something? thanks for any advice i receive on this. youall have helped me tremendously so far

check out Irish LC first.
Second, after putting much piece in LC give it a few days to grow out before injecting jars of Popcorn. At work so can't link IrishLC for ya, shouldn't be hard to find though.
Other than that I will read again later but you should be ok.

Using freshly shredded stem tissue could conceivably work, but I've never heard of it...
Smart money says to let it grow in your LC jars (fine advice above, guys

)
and suffer for a few days of waiting, which is well worth the wait...

If you wanna use it right away 9er tek that stem you were gona use to knock up LC...hell do both!

yea ive seen fahtys tek before but i cant remember where i saw it on here but theres a tek some guy named reverend i think, man he had some monsters and if i read it right, he said he just took tissue and put in sterilized jar and glass, then he would inoculate, but i think he used wbs instead of popcorn. maybe one of the old timers can remember the tek that im talking about?
