tropicap LEVEL +10 - IN GOOD STANDING
Couple questions on growing.
Its about the time of year when I get some naturally growing Cubes in my yard (thanks to equine fertilizer), but I would like some more plentiful yields.
I am planning on ozzzz's monotub recipe http://forums.mycotopia.net/compost-...pictorial.html (Horse Poo Pictorial .....)
My first question, if I already have Live myco growing in a nugget of hpoo can I use that to inoculate my tub?
Second I have well water. I have the option to use softened or un-softened or even pond water. Un softened has alot of carbonate alk and iron, softened has carbonate alk with alot less iron but could have slightly more salt due to the softening process, I have no idea what the bond water has in it. Due to the amount of alk my well water has a ph of about 8.2 would this change the monotub recipe.

you can use the any mycel as spawn...just be sure you know the species
for safety...

Id use the pond water myself, but as long as you adjust the ph to around 7 you can use any h2o2..
