bagged cow manure

is bagged cow manure you buy from the store already dried out enough for pasteurization or do i need to dry it out in the sun on a screen? im looking thru the vaults but i cant find anything about store bought manure

also for pasteurizing i dont have a temp gauge and was wondering if anyone knew the number to put on the stove to keep it at or near 170 degrees. you know 1-9...

I never did like it or have consistent results.

most bagged i've seen is pretty wet right after opened up.
proly will need to dry it some.
no idea what setting on your stove gives what temp
depends on stove, pot size, how full, etc.
you'll have to gauge that yerself

a candy thermometer will put you in the right temp range=
get one at grocery store near the chocolate chips, baking, etc.

Another option is a meat thermometer. The one like you stick in a roast. That way you can probe it into the dung or whatever you are cooking as the water temp and them temp inside the dung will take sometime to equalize. Dung takes some time to come to temperature.
