Liquid cultures with agave nectar

I was just curious,to see if any one has used agave nectar for a liquid culture? If so would it be around 4% like most other teks? And what kind of additives would be bennificial to an LC??? Sorry I have just been slow to try LCs.. And have failed on a shit load!!!

the only additive a LC really needs is sugar in some form. agave nectar should work fine, but i haven't tried it. been meaning too though as i have a bunch of it around.

Give it a shot! Let us know how it turns out. A FOAF loves using Karo instead of honey. Don't mistake carmalized sugar for contams in your LC when using something with a high sugar content.
