While searching the deepest darkest recesses of Glasshopper labs I recovered this from long term storage, ![]() You are looking at what was a very weak liquid culture made in 2000 That has not been protected from the one hundred plus temperatures (F) in over Five or six years. It is the original homestead book company spores and probably one of the last in existence as they closed a few years ago due to legal harassment. It was started from a multi spore scrape from a print and apparently went dormant after consuming its available food, leaving it in just plain water. I still find it hard to believe myself but the proof is in the results, Here is just a mere three days after transfer to a fresh medium, ![]() Long term storage in pure water is amazing!
