Jello has loads of sugar-type substances , probably far more than required. As Isk mentioned cardboard works very well. You can search here for info on cardboard isolation. Many good threads. An easy way to use cardbaord: - Harvest shroom you want to isolate. - Take cap off - Soak strip of cardboard 2 - 3 inches wide and 4 to 6 inches long (hot water if you want) - After the cardboard is soaked pull of the top and bottom paper exposing the corregated , wavy piece - Place stalk or piece of stalk on the end of the corregated and roll it up like sushi - Store in a yogurt container with polyfil breather - Mist every few days if it looks dry In 48 hours or close to it will look like this: ![]() Now you can throw the colonized roll in a blender with water and make a clone-slurry. Dump that into a wire screened strainer and let it drain. Anything you mix this into will make clone substrate. Squeeze any extra water out well. I like to use things like horse manure , leaves , garlic straw chips , coir , more cardboard and may other things. Probably the easiest way to go is mix the clone-cardboard pulp with your favorite bulk sub mix and squeeze hard with both hands like your making a tight snowball.... Cardboard clone-balls: ![]() Or flatten those balls and they become clone-burgers ![]() Best of luck in any case.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | it worked
so it worked kinda...i tried to just put piece of skinned stem in LC and not so good but put one piece on a jello oatmeal mix in a pint jar ...kinda like agar oatmeal but without the agar and well after like a week or less , it pinned out or what ever cause it looked like a drugged out hippie's hair ...so i did wat somebody said somewhere about agar agar and it said do the agar then transfer over to lc and i took two pieces and put in lc and both look good. MY QUESTION is ...is this strain isolation???? since its from a tissue of a mushroom fruit body???the second pic of the fruit body of the clone
