Yeah you could apply a silicon injection port on a spawn bag but depending on the mount of substrate you'll be using it may be best to just spawn to it so colonization doesn't take anywhere near as long. You could also just use a polyfill top and just inject through that. This is what I follow with a few simple variations....

Some say they have good luck with silicone on bags, others say it peels or pops off.
Another idea for injection sites on bags is to put two pieces of tape, one directly on top the other. Something like electrical tape would do. Make the top piece about an inch longer and fold it over itself on the end to make a non sticky pull tab. The fold could be about 1/2 inch. Then using the pull tab peel the outer piece up, wipe with an alcohol swab and inject through the piece underneath. Re-apply the outer piece and you have a sealed injection port.
You could still use the polyfill plug in the top like in the thread mm420 linked.

although i manly G2G with bags, way back when, i just put masking tape (the cream colored kind) on the bag, and put the silicone blob on the tape. it sticks very well to the tape, and the tape sticks extremely well to the bag, especially after PCing, as it melts the adhesives and basically bonds the tape to the plastic...good luck
