liquid nutes for straw or coir bulk grow of HB on rye

foaf was thinking of using 300ppm sensigrow "a" 3.7-0-0 as soak water for straw or/and to hydrate coir. any one familiar with this or can please offer advice please do. hes done plenty of straw beds sucesfully but can only get black kow compost that proply caused the trich in his last bed also he was thinking of using coir and straw but could'nt find any info on that he was probly gonna pastuerize both and mix the coir with the rye or wbs he has both w/HB then layer the straw with it and put straight grain on top to colonize it faster. any input would be greatly appreciated and i will moniter progress or failure and post it for anyone who may be interested if it works good ill have foaf take pics and write a tek for me.
thanks in advance foaf doesn't want to waste time or spawn .please help if you can or know of a similar post he can refer to

I don't see why you'd do that. when it comes to bulk subs keeping it simple does the trick
straight straw would be fine straight coir allegedly has good yields even.

straw and poo seems to work the best, even the black cow, just do a bleach dip with it in there if you're having contam issues, might wash away some of the salts and amonias often found in the bagged manures, that would be a good thing.

coir and straw should be fine though, the richer your sub the more likely it is to invasion of molds and other nasties.

might be time to find a horse farm?

I found from experience that straight straw works the best. My combos with horse poo took ALOT longer to pin and formed myc mats on the outside of the logs. My last straw bail contained alot of seed heads and was propably more nutritious than most straw. My spawn is WBS mixed in at about 25%.

Everyone has different experiences. For me straw / manure mixes , particularly horse manure led to great success. Especially in logs.

Whenever I used all straw i'd fall into contam troubles and drying out issues after the first flush. Its gotten to the point where i've entirely stopped using cereal grain straw and now use shredded / chipped "weed" plants in my area ... knotweed , burdock , leaves all mixed with manure , usually 50 /50 %.

If I was going to use straw i'd shred it finely and soak it overnight in manure water ... before pasteurizing it.

he hasnt given up on poo just needs to find that one method best suited to him. his plan was to use the liquid nutes as a substitute for poo water or at least a supplement for the straw. foaf loves worm castings he hasnt reupped yet. we may be shit stompin in some fields when everything dries out some
