Pre-Sterilized Spawn Bags?

Hey everyone Im wondering if anyone has experience ordering pre-sterilized spawn bags off the internet. Im looking for a large amount probably atleast 50 pounds so anywhere offering a bulk discount or membership discount for ************, mycotopia, or the shroomery will be appreciated. spawn will be inoculated via grain to grain transfer and spawned to shit/straw outside.

Any advice is appreciated

I had to read your reply a couple times before I figured out what you meant lol comin down off some texans. Spose I should have clarified rye grain or wild bird seed or whatever other grain spawn is what Im lookin for. Its going to spawn an outdoor patch so I probably dont want something animals are going to be digging up, although the patch will be sealed off from critters using mesh or a cloth

you might try mycrotopia's supercake mix, the critters won't eat it.

Don't go through everything mushrooms!!! I ordered ten three pound bags of rye and wound up with wet spot in every one. They replaced them and they all contaminated again! I used spores from ************* and had also cooked up some WBS to finish off the spores. All of the quart jars of WBS were fine and produced and were inoculated with the same syringes.

Hey hippie3 whats the best deal youre offering for bulk pre sterilized spawn bags? Im not concerned with critters digging it up as the bottom will be closed with landscaping cloth and the top with wire mesh and cloth.

my best deals are what i have posted at mycrotopia,
any savings has to come on the shipping end,
can save a bit shipping larger amounts by parcel post.

Sweet hip thanks Ill take a closer look and see if I have any more questions. One thing Im wondering is how long in your shipping will take to Ontario, Canada? If it'll take more than a week can I pay for a quicker option?

edit: after looking it looks like the Large Spawn Bags of rye is the best deal. Am I correct in understanding that its about 12 pounds of sterilized rye grain? I am on planning on inoculating via grain to grain transfer in a glovebox and sealing with wire from a hardware store like you mentioned in an earlier post.

yeah, roughly as it'll vary a bit by water weight.
how long it takes depends on the quantity,
how many orders are ahead of you
and will i need to order more rye, bags, etc.
also a bit more expensive to ship to canada.
