White lightning albino cap (cloning Q.)

I'll get pictures on here tommorow of this....
SWIM (a la the pf tek) has an albino capped shroom, that is growing off of the cap of another shroom. It's not touching the cake at all. Anyone else have this happen? it looks pretty chill.

Would SWIM want to clone material out of the inside of the cap in hope to duplicate the albino genes, or would inner stipe be fine?

is it two diffrent types of mushroom
if there both the same
its just a random act of mushrooms and the spores due to little to no seletive growing

but im still new so i might be wronge

Theres a lot of shroms that look like what you describing in you post. I dont think Ive seen an albino like that. A pic would help conferm an albino ontop of another shroom. If you got a freakshow shroom post it here. http://forums.mycotopia.net/photo-ga...w-shrooms.html (Freakshow Shrooms).

Take a look at these shrooms you will see a lot of them that look like what your describing. A lot of them are do to fumes from chemicals in the grow area.

Here are pictures of it. In the dark from the top view, and when they were 2/3 the size, it looked like the white fuzz on one of them stems was an albino cap, and the whole thing was growing off of the other cap.

It's not a ripped in half stem, both stems are completed and whole.

First off, what a monster!
I don't see the albino cap though, the bottom of the second shroom looks like a detached base. Can you identify a cap?
I don't think that is it a genetic issue, maybe just abnormal development.

looks like early on, two pins touched heads and fused. then one got ripped out by the base, and is fluffing up, trying to find the mycelial network again.

cloning it is fine, but keep it seperate as more of a curiosity. don't use it for your primary breeding. the genetic damage may not always show up in future grows.. but there is damage. it may leave that isolate more suseptible to future rosecomb events. either way, you won't get an entire flush of them if that's what you are hoping for. sorry
