![]() | constant fresh air = best?
if I can have a constant (24/7) stream of fresh filtered air going into the FC via air tube with a filter in it as well, with one exit hole that's filtered, and perfect humidity still with the constant air exchange; is this the best way? Or do I need CO2 specifically for anything? ive just always fanned for years on end. that's why I ask. I've got it working beautifully, absolutely perfect actually, I just don't know if constant is supremely the best details please? Last edited by Getitosis; 05-16-09 at 17:25. once you get a good pinset and fruits are growing, constant fresh air is a good way to go. high co2 is favorable for pin formation however, so i would only fan 1-2x per day during the pinning stage

it mimics the natural conditions of cube better. Too little FAE = skinny wierd looking shroom with small caps. They get thick and have huge caps with good fae. More FAE also = less contam rates especially with bulks and trays

More fresh air the better, only thing you have to watch out for is once i left a high powered fan right up to a tub for a number of hours and when i returned the caps had become cracked. The fan had blown all the humidity out and was draining moisture so if using a lot of fresh air be sure to replace lost moisture.
