Spawn Bag Questions

Though you may have seen my lab and understand that I am pretty much rolling along without many issues, I have some questions about fruiting in spawn bags that I hope you can assist with:

1.) When fruiting in the bags using rye grain as the substrate and 50/50 peat/verm as the casing does the filter patch provide enough air exchange or do I have to leave the bags open in the fruiting chamber and ventilate/adjust humidity levels?

2.) If the patch provides enough air exchange do I still need to keep the humidity in the fruiting chamber high or just control the temperature of the bags and depend on the bags internal humidity for fruiting?

3.) How intense/how much florescent light wattage do I need to give them?

4.) How close do the lights need to be?

I appreciate all your help, I have yet to find a spawn bag tek that answers these questions.

1) Yes it does provide the gas exchange you need.

2) No just the temperature is all you need to control

3) Never had a problem using daylight/sunlight T8 shop lights myself.

4) Couple of feet or so....

i learned ya do not need a lot of light to fruit mushrooms. only time them projects received light was exposure from me wanting to view or fan them, if sand man says filter patch good nuff then is good.
