![]() | A newbie FC question
Hey! What are the white plastic grates that sit on top of the perlite that I see in some of the FC pictures? They are the grates that the cakes sit on top of. What are they called and where can I find some?

those crates are for fluorescent light fixtures. They are replacement covers. At least thats what I think they are for. These should be easily found at your local hardware store. If all else fails, Lowes or Home Depot will have them. I personally just use squares of foil to put my cakes on. Good luck and remember, take shady roads when your burning your tweeds. |

bud, I think that those things are a useless expense. If you really need/want them, you should get em'. Like I said before foil can be just as effective. You can get a whole box for a dollar at the family dollar or some cheap store like that. By the way, try wally world out. Look in the lighting section. Don't be scared to ask, they don't know shit. wal-mart is definetly cheaper then Rip-off depot.
