invitro (just wondering)

does growing fungi invitro in say, jars, limit growth? as opposed to taking them out of the jars.... jw, and when growing invitro how do you control humidity for the mycelia or does it do that on it's own since it's contained?

yes it does limit growth and weight of final product
and yes it is meant to be self contained kinda set and forget so humidity and moisture is controlled within the cake

Varies so much with several factors ... like strain , temps , FAE and what's in the jar. I'm assuming you mean BRF jars.

Nevermind the yield imo , just enjoy the process and throw it on a scale after harvest if your curious.

I'm with hyph, too many factors to tell. But 12 jars will get you a decent little stash...

yeah i pretty much figured that after i asked, there are plenty of variables. Jars should show up any day now

SWIM averaged 7 dry grams per half pint invitro jar from many different strains. Later flushes will allow room in the jar for some caps to open for printing, too..

I haven't been able to determine if you get more mush from birthing the cake to a bin or leaving it in jar
