Ime irish you don't want to eliavte that birck. Fruit it like a cake. Put that brick on a peice of foil, and Dec it. I've tried elivale these bricks in the past using cooling racks and the sub has always dried out on me, even when I used perlite on the bottom. I'm currently doing a grow testing a isolate with this same method except this time I'm just fruiting the brick like a giant cake. Like I said do not eliviate the brick it will dry out. You will get beter results dec'ing that brick, trust me!

heres some updated pics, 3 days in the FC, its knotting up nicely, should see some pins in a couple days, atleast I hope so, LOL, but, one never does know with bagged manure, but, with the speed of colonization and the rhizo growth I would imagine it should do fairly well.

Woot Woot!Four days aint bad at all.How do you do your air exchanges during pre-pinning?Mine normally take 7 to 8 days.

I leave it alone, open it up once a day long enough to take a couple quick pics and thats it.

you bet!
anytime u get those downward facing pin/fruits on the sides and corners of the bottom and side like the pics show you can rest assured that there are a bounty of pins on ALL sides and the micro-environment if you will underneath that there block is a bit more humid i bet the fruits under there are lovin it

not to mention the jars bein pressed by the weight of the sub, i bet u there are a few pins popping up in the 'disturbed' areas--where the jars' circumferance is pressing against the bottom of the sub in those few seperate places!
helpful factoid--
a poster here once said perlite is what causes that god-aweful bitter taste we sometimes get in addition to the beautiful bouquet of flavor typically associated with cubensis' flavor

Well I must say ladies and gents I am impressed, I may be over estimating in my numbers, but, I believe there is a easy 25 dry grams here, minus of course ettes, 50 to 60 grams (fresh) dose she has. I have honestly not see a bagged manure compost do this well. Time to scrape (thanks purple rain) dunk for 8 hours and fruit it again.

hard to be sure but yeah, pretty close to an OZ,
maybe more if they're solid/dense,
less if hollow.
