Roughly yes, and one does hope, they fill out as good as flush one, plus thats the bottom of the sub being fruited this time not the top.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Prints
Heres some prints I am taking, approxmently 12 from this flush, they need to dry and they should be great and done in a clean room, so they will be very clean. I leave the jars over the prints and stick a tooth pick about 1/4" to half inch under the jar and will leave that a couple days so they dry.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The way I print
OK heres the dried prints that are now in baggies. and here is how I print. I try to print in the most sterile conditions possible, in a clean room (a sterlized bleach cleaned closet or small room), First I place everything inside the room and spay all surfaces with lysol neutra air or oust, then the air in the room is well sterlized with the same, The board is placed over a table, (a new 4 foot by 12" wide 1" thick pine board works nicely), this is placed ontop a small table sprayed with lysol neutra air, then whiped down with 91% iso, then both sides of tinfoil whiped with ISO then room is sprayed again and left to sit for 35 to 40 minutes, then I take a cloth or banbana and cover my mouth and nose then enter slowly and close door then spry room again, then I wash ahnds with iso to elbows, then whipe printing side of tinfoil with iso cotton ball again, then caps are placed on tin foils after ISO has evaporiated and then the caps are covered with glasses or clean iso whipped half pint jars, then a whipped toothpick is placed under glasses or jars for mositure evaporation and left for 8 to 12 hours, then room is sprayed again, then foil is whiped with ISO again, caps are moved to another spot on tinfoil for one more printing, covered with more jars with toothpick under all jars, then after another 8 to 12 hours caps are removed and prints are allowed 4 days to dry. After Drying room is then sprayed again, tinfoil is whipped down with iso again where it is exposed, cups are left over spores, tinfoil is cut around them is squares using a sterlized utility knife or scapel, then each baggie is whipped well with 91% iso outside and especially in the lip and then a set of twizers are sterlized so tinfoil is never touched by hands, (hands are washed with 91%iso every 5 mintues or so or everytime utentsiles are changed) then tweezers are used to place prints in baggies and then sealed then labeled. Hope this helps some noobs out as some I see don't let their prints dry or son't follow proper sterlity teks and prints end up contamnined or look like they exploded in the bag due to peeps not letting them dry, This is what your prints are supposed to look like when done.

Last print I got from trade was a square piece of tinfoil in a ziplock bag. There was no print on the foil (clean foil noting on it) and some purple dust in corner of bag. I proceeded to fill bag with water and suck up the dust. It contaminated later in BRF jar and LC. Oh well, not sure why print didnt stick to foil unless it was too hot in mail transit or something but would think there would be something on the foil instead of dust in bag. Dont know if anyone else seen that happen before and what cause is. | |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You can because irishlion's prints are very sterile when printing them. But, you have to be very sterile when making a syringe from the bag.

Well here is the 4th flush in full bloom, pretty much every cap open at the same time, got alot of nice mushies to print and alot of very nice clone possibilities.

aight heres the wet weight so everyone can see, and yes I tiered the scale and yes the scale is dead on the money. But, remember this weight is minus 11 caps that are printing and 2 4 inch long and 3/8" to half inch thick stems, so add about 30 or so grams so rough guess total wet weight is atleast 450 grams. The smallest printing cap is golf ball sized but, average tennis ball sized.

Excellent grow Irish! The first monotubs I've ever made I used bagged cow manure (Dont know the brand, assume it was composted, but it was from a farm supply store as opposed to a hardware store if it matters) as well as chopped up straw and verm as a bulk substrate and fruited them uncased with great results from rye grain colonized with Texas multispore LC edit: Right now Ive spawned a number of outdoor patches using bagged cow manure, this time from the hardware stores, probably 3 or 4 different varieties in the various patches all cow manure tho and a bit of "organic compost", some had some verm mixed in as well. Because bagged manure from a general store is always a gamble for the next patches I want to try a bit more variety but theyre all guerilla patches so bagged substrates that can be opened poured and quickly broken up by hand like manure and verm are very clutch. This makes it hard to try to use a number of substrates Straw-Usually need to get a huge bail that takes up space is a big mess needs to get chopped up soaked etc Coir-Needs to be soaked, no experience Horse manure- Found a source but never done before have to drive out of town no idea or guarantee of quality, no experience with prep This gives me an idea, Worm Castings. After searching Ive found some grow shops selling them, albeit expensively. I think I'll keep using bagged cow manure but amend it with worm castings and compost as well as verm to fluff it up a bit, then case with verm and peat and sow some grass seeds One thing Im wondering about coir is for outside if pet store variety is still needed. One variety I was interested is in a product grow stores carry Canna brand but after searching It seems like they lace their product with trich. No pasteurization is done of the sub for outside so thats probably a bad idea and a dead end. Anotheer option is the kind the hardware stores sell of a brick you add water too which is probably cheaper than the pet store kind but its unclear if they lace it with trich Dont mean to hijack the thread its good to see someone else enjoying success with bagged manure. The first patch I made was spawned 6 weeks ago and fruits were first seen last week (Should be noted that this is in Ontario, Canada, it rained minimally during that period, and the patch was visited very infrequently(guerilla)). At this patch and others the mycellium has been aggressively colonizing despite slug snail squirrel and bird attacks and looks healthy, with the only substrate being a variety of bagged composted cow manure from hardware stores, a testament to their capabilities
