Highest fruiting temps you've experienced?

Alright, my growspace has been cooking, almost literaly. I saw the temp teetering @ 105,......not cool. I use an outdoor shed as my growspace.

Anyway, short of air conditioning the space, which is what i'll wind up doing, i can manage the temp into the 90-95 range.

I guess my question is what is the highest temp you have personally experienced while fruiting? I read someone experienced 90+.

I think i'm gonna try a yard-sprinkler over the top of the shed and see if that makes a dent.

try growing a vine over the top of the shed. may not be the answer for this year but maybe next.

Ive maxed out around 90. Oddly enough at those temps I got my largest fruits ever.

Roscoe has a good idea. You could even grow wheat grass or catnip.

Is the roof at least white? If the square footage is small enough, you could put some plywood on top and leave a 6" airgap. Could take some of the load off.

Is it a metal shed?

a ridge vent can allow the heat to escape
tell me what your roof material is and I should be able to advise what vent I would use
I an assuming there is no insulation

btw a fan blowing on a wet sheet = evaporative cooler AKA 'swamp cooler'
will drop temps a good ten degrees
if the rh isn't as high as the temp too.

Wow, thanks for the quick replies guys.

Yeah, it's a metal shed, white roof, corrugated aluminum, no insulation, 2x4 frame. I grew haws in it last year but that wasn't too concerned as long as i got some fruits. Didn't even have a thermometer at the time

Ridge-vent would help some i guess. It has three small windows in it btw. It's not sealed by any means.

Swamp cooler be ineffective if the Rh is too high? Humidity is right up there if not a tad higher at times. Price is right though, lol. I'm gonna check that out today.

A simple fan in the window blowing outwards should cool temps down considerably,
I'd think?
