green mold/trch question.

A few days after foaf's 5th flush he noticed 2 small patches of green mold. He let the mold go for a few more days as he hasn't had time to take it outside at the right moment to get rid of it (he lives in an apt.). Now, there are 3 little guys that could be ready to pick. If my understanding is correct, mycellium will transfer nutrients and contams throughout it's network, so therefore, the fruits would also be contamd? He's planning on making a small bed outdoors for the contamd subs/jars if he runs into any. I've read that trich will survive outdoors but sunlight should help keep it down. Is there anything else that can be done to cut down the trich?

Bleach, bleach, and more bleach
Make a mild solution of bleach water and scrub the hell out of your grow area.
Don't wear clothes that you were wearing while outside when you are practicing mycology either.

Concerning the Fruits....
If they have any kind of green mold or slime on them, then no. Toss em out.
But if they popped up though a part of the cake that didnt have a patch of green and look clean and fresh, then they are fine.

haha...I found myself staring at it for a while before getting it out of the apt. They should call it kryptonite instead of trich. haha

I got a small trich outbreak last year, 2 months straight it killed everything! Smiling Turtle is right, Bleach! I used a 1-5 * bleach-water mix, Cleared everything out, bleached every hour for 4 hours, vacumed, shampood and cleaned the walls/ceiling. Hit it all with bleach again and let it dry out with a small fan. It was soo great to see pure white again!

Good Luck Man!
