Just wondering if it's ok to put the shrooms right into a calcium carbonate chamber? Or should I fan them first?

They are too wet for a desiccant chamber when fresh, they will rot before they dry out.

Put them in front of a fan for a day or two until relatively dry, then finish off with desiccant.

I would let them sit under a fan till pretty dry so u get better mileage out of your desiccant.
