what does greenish/bluish growth mean?

swab it with a q-tip, if it rubs off its probably the green meany, if it dont rub off its probably bluing. do u have a pic?

not at the moment, i'll take one soon

it's in a couple jars, and mycelium hasn't really fully established itself yet so I'm guessing it's purely contaminant

Is it on the colonized part of the jar or the uncolonized part? I havent really seen bruising happen during colonization but I could see it happening. If its on the uncolonized part you are probably out of luck.

it's on both,

i was reading about contam ID looks like penicillin maybe? idk, it's a pain in the ass, i was super sterile and they were in a very clean environment. hmmm
