How much light?

I just birthed a few cakes that started to pin, and i was wondering how many hours of light are ideal for the cakes. Is there such thing as too much light or too little??

You really don't need more than a few minutes of light per day to trigger pinning. Brighter, more consistent light may help your crop from growing all tangled up in all directions, but cakes rather tend to do that anyways.
