how many Quart jars is 10 mycrotopia spawn bags

The straw log I am going to use calls for 5 quarts per 36" straw log. 10 spawn bags from mycrotopia is equivalent to how many quart jars of spawn?

Not sure which bags you got but according to his website at a glance it looks like if you went with the supercake bags there are 3 cups in each bag and ten bags. There are 4 cups in a quart. Ill let you draw your own conclusion as I may not be looking at the specific spawn bags you purchased. He gives measurements on his website for most of his mycrotopia products.

about at least 8 full quarts,
but no one fills them to the top...
more like 10 quarts if you left headspace for air.

That cup per quart conversion really helped. I dont know how I didnt come accross that.

Is the supercake recomended over rye berries for use as spawn. Rye has seemed to be the general consensus from my reading.

eh, supercake is my fav, massive yields and fewer contams.
sell alot more of it than i do rye.
