![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | colonized grain to lc?
hello, I couldn't find information about this but I might have skipped it. Is it possible to mix colonized grain with water, suck it in the syringe, and inoculate a few LCs with it? has anyone ever tried this? the reason I ask is because I have some left over colonized PE that took two months to colonize due to old spores! peace |

Sure - works great as long as you stay clean. Oftentimes I'll birth PF jars, squirt a syringe of sterile water into the empty jar, swirl it around in the myc at the bottom of the jar, and suck it back up. If you use it quickly, it'll colonize whatever you want like a champ... I use a ghetto glovebox when doing this - gotta stay clean! ![]() soliver |
