Hehehe Lost my first cake to trich today. Thought I'd share the first death in the family. I intend to throw it in the compost, so who knows, maybe it'll sprout another mushy or two. I imagine there'll be plenny more coming in the next few days. Most of the 20 cakes have been thru 3+ flushes now. Anyways, RIP cake. Oh yeah, I noticed the myc starts getting a golden color to it after a few flushes...is this something that happens as they age?

Sorry for your loss. Putting it to rest outdoors can work wonders, http://forums.mycotopia.net/fungi-gr...ooms-hell.html (EQ Shrooms from Hell!) Mother Nature has a way of healing ills. GLUK!

*sniffle sniffle* *wipes tears out of I* Grazi for the link rhyno. I'll prob do something similar...w/ much less attention and care. Have a little creek area that runs behind the house...I'll drop em along w/ some horse sh*t there. Stays pretty humid as it's very brushy and lotsa little undergrowth stuff. They've produced plenny, so I ask nothing more of them. Might as well give em a chance to live on though I suppose
