These fungi are evidently quite tricky to grow...I assume the temp would be a huge factor ....
has anybody sucessfully grown these indoors? |
I would presume not. You might want to ask Waylitjim or Workman about it to be 100% sure, they would know if anyone had documented their efforts for the internet community.
But I'm quite positive there are not threads about any successfull indoor grows of this one here at Mycotopia. I did a lot of searching for various indoor woodlover grows, and this wasn't among the finds. Also, the success rate for indoor woodlover grows is generally a lot lower than for outdoors. So if the same growth parameters hold true for this one, then, if you live somewhere that has outdoor conditions about the same as in New Zealand, I would definitely try making an outdoor grow, with at least 50% of your substrate.
Your syringe idea sounds good to me. Then if turns out it isn't clean anyway, you could separate some of the nicer parts of your rye kernels (or whatever) and put them on cardboard. But seek advice on this from some people with actual experience of this shroom.
