hello all, my two kittens are cloning for the first time and they had some questions. The kitties are wondering of its ok clone from the second flush? Are there any differences in performance with clones from the second flush when compared to clones from the first flush? Copernicus |

you can clone from any flush. what you clone depends on the desired traits you want. i think an ideal clone would be : first flush ; first biggest to pop up or the first biggest cluster you get to pop out. 3rd flushes usually produce some monsters that'll work well. it really all depends on what you want to get out of it. some where in the middle is think is good. med - large in size that fruits fast and abundant.

From what I have read (my friend has never tried before...) it is best to take clone material from the largest boom in a good thick cluster. My friend will be trying this in a few weeks when he gets to see his first thick healthy cluster (in 5 years, he is not a total newb just took a rest).

I agree. If you want nice even flushes choose a large shroom that is growing in a dense cluster to clone. If you want to grow monster shrooms, choose the largest shroom that you grow, even if it is by itself. This could be a first or even a third flush boomer. Generally I would choose the 1st option to maximize your total yields. Good luck, ![]() GT
