rosecomb? dry bubble? something else?

Hi I'm new!

SWIM is babysitting a couple of PF cakes for a FOAF. Not sure what strain or how many flushes they had been through (at least one) or their prior growing conditions. When SWIM got them, he cleaned them off (picked off any remaining aborts, wiped off excess vermiculite), and gave them a 20 hour dunk in the fridge. He then double end cased them, and set up little terrariums from tall quart sized plastic soup containers (kinda like chronic tek).

Anyways, they seemed to be doing ok (harvested a couple of guys today), but one of the cakes has some weird guys growing on them. There's one big deformed one (cap is curled inside out on one side), plus several more of the little guys have big light colored bulbs growing on the top of their caps. The picture has the big deformed one plus one of the bigger ones with the weird bulb. The weird bulb seems to form early (noticed it on a couple of really tiny guys).

Any idea what is causing this? Maybe too much bleach (SWIM never used bleach, but thinks his FOAF used bleach-soaked perlite)? Or is it a contam? Should he take any action?

definitely a mutation, did it come into contact with lysol?

Does look like rosecomb.

Unfortunately, swim's foaf is out of the country, so he can't get more info about their previous history. no contact with anything other than tap water this flush. if it is rosecomb (or a similar mutation), is it true that the mushies are (most likely) safe to consume and that no intervention is necessary/effective?

swim mostly wants to take good care of them since he's having a good time watching them grow . he's really into the growing process, and has (unsuccessfully) attempted cloning some supermarket shiitakes to cardboard recently so he can have some mushies of his own to take care of. He's also printing and may try cloning some of these guys if a really nice specimen appears.

The fruits should be safe to eat. I doubt you would want to clone anything from that cake since it's got a disease.
