Yes, it will. I have found in my experiments that clones mostly do better on the substrate from which they were cloned--i.e., PF cake multispore to PF cake clone. If you want to spawn, just take a cheese grater and grind the colonized cakes up to whatever bulk you are using. But your clone tissue will colonize the rye as well. Good luck!
