![]() ![]() | must I rinse my coir before spawning?
I have been useing coir now for a little while with mixed results. I have never rinsed my coir before. I just now saw in the vaults where someone says that coir must be rinsed due to salts and whatnot that are added for the reptiles sake. I purchase my coir from a petstore so I assume that I should be rinseing it. Although, I also saw a pdf posted by hip that didn't mention rinseing the coir at all. Should I have been rinseing my coir? Maybe that would explain some of my poor results useing this product. Any opinions on this matter?

Coir is a natural product. Rehydrating and pasteurization is all you need to do.
