Greetings all
Left this bag a little long and the oysters seem to be doing their best to crawl out of the bag and find some more food. Impressive rhizomorphic growth.

Gotta love the tenacity of those oysters. I've had them grow right thru filter discs and even stranger was when i found i jar with sterilized grain that i put aside until some other spores arrived half colonized with oyster mycelium. I had put it in a FC that oysters had been grown in.

I figure given enough time that mycellium would try and take over the world so i figured i should give it a nice meal of straw but after opening the bag i had to take another picture of that 5" blob of growth

sweet pics never cultivated oysters some nice looking myc though oh yeah big props on the name love me some hitchhikers guide

Nice crisp photo. That oyster myc is eager to find some Food. Listen closely when your altered. It's saying...feeeeeeeed meeeee

Thanks for the comments, About the same time as i stuffed some leftoverr spawn into a couple gallon pot with woodchips and sawdust and a bit of verm on top and just left it outside, a few days back i dumped it on a tray to let some air in and today it is pinning up a storm. even a little unattached woodchip has pins on it. And yes Hitchicker is a wonderful book.
