LC problem/question

If an LC is going particularly slow but the growth is snow white like mycelium but appears to have been slowed or stalled despite swirling, would it be good to cook up a new LC and suck some of the old LC mycelium up into a syringe and inject that into the new LC? It is almost a month old and is not nearly what I had expected after seeing the pictures around here of this tek having great success (irishlions tek).

I figure since the growth I have is used to growing in liquid, it should take off extra quick in the new LC... kinda like G2G but with LC.

Anyone tried this? I figured I would do a test jar as well while I'm at it.

I have an isolate that has been preserved by LC to LC for quite some time.

I had it in the refridgerator for an extended period, took it out in January and made several cakes and 3 new LC's from it. I repeated the LC thing in April and again in June so yes this is a viable way to maintain and propagate a strain.

I also make spore prints and an occasional clone from the grows just in case the cultures show signs of senescence, but no problems so far.

I make new lc's like that all the time but I would not reccomend taking the time to do it until you knock up atleast one jar to make sure the LC is indeed viable and uncontaminated mycelium or else you are out of time and supplies.... Just my opinion but I hate to see good work go to waste. Im not questioning your LC or sterile procedure it's just what I do to keep my shit in check.
