Just poo and Water

So the crazy hunch kept hitting me to get some poo from a nearby field I find cubes in and dunk it for an hour and throw it in the fc

. I dont have anything better goin on right now. So thats exactly what I did, found a big hard chunk of poo, bagged it up and took it home, I ended up dunkin it for 20 minutes b/c it absorbed the water really fast. then I sat it in the FC, no spores, PC or anything, just poo and water.

I figured Id give it a week and see what happens, so I treated it like a cake and fanned/misted it. 4 days later bam!! PINS

Ill update as it goes on, I also got another chunk and dunked it to see if I just got luck, its getting knots already!! Ill get pics of it up too.

And Yes Im Sure They are P. Cubensis..

I used to live in Florida and we'd go a-hunting ourselves.
Of course we usually just bagged up mushrooms.

It's pretty funny how our hobbies have us do crazy stuff.
An adult going into a field to collect some crap...think about that....LOL!

Low and behold no inoculation and it still fruited.

You are treating it like a cake...look there's still a lid on that dung.

LMFAO dude. It is kind of odd that full grown adults walk into a pasture of shit and are absolutely happy with what they are going to go home with in that bag/tub. I love it. My mother thinks I'm insane lol (don't live with her but she knows and laughs her ass off about it). Good shit is good to find. I wish I could find pre innoc'd shit though, that would cut back on the propane bill and make my PC last a lot longer lol

You guys are halarious! I havent been finding them lately(NO RAIN) thats what made me go collect shit, but I do agree, it is odd how I can walk into a field and take 5 gallons of poo and not think twice, some people would call it redneck lol

My Mom has the same sentiments about my hobby. Last time I visited her I got her to eat some.....thats when the real laughing began.

I think he's on to something here though. A great way for newbie growers to get their feet wet. You could absolutely sell pre-inoculated piles of dung that are dry.
Just add water and enjoy. I know they have similar products.....but not POO!!!

Im in Texas, So they are a wild texan strian of sorts. Ive got agar dishes pre-poured to clone and Isolate it.
Selling pre-noc'd poo isnt a bad idea-I dont have any market privilages though so maybe later.

Heres this mornings pic, if you look on the lid the poo is sitting on, the mushies brought a lil friend.

No, you can't get too far with selling living mycelium of an active species. The fact that it's hidden in a brick of shit doesn't change too much there.

The court would say that it's definately not for microscopy and the purpose is obviously growing psilocybin containing mushrooms.

You could still defend yourself saying you wanna sell bricks of shit to put on a bookshelf as natural samples for collecting...
