Newbie needs tips

I'm a first time grower, I used a recipe calling for two thirds of a cup of Verm , a third cup of Brown rice flour for every half pint jar. Shouldn't it have called for ne water? Also, the few decent shrooms I do have growing r being covered in what appears to be white fuzzy mold. What am I doing wrong?

Maximum fruiting formula:
1/4 cup of brown rice powder
1/2 cup of vermiculite
60 cc's water

is it just white around the stems or is it all over and puffy like.

I got 1 cup water, 1 cup BRF, and 2 cups verm. Works like a charm. Follow that recipe that Dank gave you and you will be golden. Do not cut any corners either or be in a hurry.

If the humidity is to high you might get the fuzz, nothing to worry about as long as it is not mold,
