Judging from the size of the plant in the picture it looks pretty small to me. For 26 bucks I'm not sure you'd get your money's worth. The monitoring feature it has probably doesn't cover fungal growth parameters, but my main source of doubt is size. I don't even think you could get a half pint cake in there comfortably. Go for a dollar store tub and you'd probably get several times more space for fruiting. The deceptive thing is that they don't give you the chamber's dimensions, but they tell you it has a 4' USB cord to hook up to your computer. WTF?

"Pros: Great now I can grow my weed at work, plugged into my computer. Cons: Hope my boss doesn't find it. Other Thoughts: Needs to be bigger to grow more weed. "

Sterilite tubs are very inexpensive. I bet the humidity required for boomers would destroy the lighting assembly in that thing and short it out pretty quick

You could get the same results by just fruiting out of the jars and placing a 2L pop bottle with the bottom cut off and some air holes over the jar. Maybe the whole thing on a plate of wet perlite.

I did that my first time. It is easy to get over-excited. It seems like a long time ago. And there's nothing easier than growing BRF cakes invitro --or in a simple FC.

Im not giving up on shrooms because I cant grow them, Ive been growing since the 90's I can grow sum shrooms! I just have a preference to cacti. Shrooms and me dont really jive anymore.

LOL, I gotcha. Yeah, I love me some cactus... I just don't want to go through the hastle of importing from Peru, or hunting down connections here, or even waiting for years to have nice sized Peyote buttons. I'm familiar with grafting and all, and it is its own cool hobby, but I don't have that kind of patience. If I lived in the southwest or somewhere with an equally nice cactus climate, I'd have some towers in my yard...

But...if my little buddy here survives long enough to hit a nice size, I'll get the lye and such to extract...

Yeah patience is without a doubt the hardest part of this hobby! My first grow seemed like it took forever, and yeah it probably took longer than it should have but hey, here I am and i'm already trying bulks!! Trust me when i say every extra minute you wait makes it sooo much more satisfying when you finally get to harvest.
