i know i saw somthing like this somewhere but i dont have a link to it...
but its very simple,
i did the same as the jars but instead of jars i used oven bags...
i used an 3/4" irigation tube for the bag opening and filled it with polyfill.
every bag has about 450g of corn and a cupfull of vermiculite.

so i was looking at teks for cloning and i cant find anything about droping a piece of shroom tissue directrly to corn jars...
will this work at all? or is this a total waste of time to try?

if not, then what if i chop the shroom in some distiled water and then add that to the corn jars?

why not take a piece of inner stem flesh and put that into a LC, then allow it to grow out and then use that mycelium to knock up your corn.

hey irishlion, i have allready PCed the bags, will thay be OK for the time it takes the LC to be ready?
im thinking ill try to drop tissue in three of the bags, and do the LC for the other three bags...

and if adding live tissue to corn works then why would an LC be better to do?

the key word here is "IF". If it does then by all means try it but, having a syringe full of cloned mycelium, works alot better because you are injecting alot more tissue into the spawn and it will reduce colonization time a great deal, if the tissue culture takes in the corn it will take a good deal of time for it to fully colonize, although corn is faster than most spawn it would still take atleast 14 to 21 days IMO for it to fully colonize and there is a very high risk of contamn but, there is also this same risk when doing any tissue cloning, so just be clean about it and give it a shot.

Also, I have had sterlized popcorn last a up to 3 months before I threw it out but, generally 30 days is all you would want to leave it.

so i will use all of the bags this time using just the tissue sample.

and when the LC is ready, i will PC more corn and use in it then.

yah i did just that...
i got tissue smaples in all of the bags and jars, and two jars of LC made with honey with tissue in them.
hopefully myc will gorw in all of them soon

yah , i have learned so much form everyone, and its all here so i dont forget it

and the LC is doing great i think,
here are some pics of the two jars i got,
the one with the little water had more in it,
but some of it leaked out in the PC...
the 2nd jar did not spill so it has more water in it...

also the first jar had a blob of stuff in it next to the tissue sample... is that a contamination or a clump of myceleum?

just remember to allow your prints to dry before bagging them otherwise they will smear and look like shit.

Nice growing, Shroomzion. That is a bunch of flushes for a bulk. I go two or three and then pitch it, as 75% of a yield is generally produced in the first two flushes and the chance of contams is greater the older the sub gets. But many flushes have worked out for you, and you have a nice stash and more knowledge for the future.
