So, someone took the lid off of a jar and while it was right-side up they put a ziploc bag over it? Or while it was upside-down? Or are the mushrooms growing invitro supposed to fruit into the bag?

Oh, yeah, I remember the wet bubble. I don't know anything about that spore vendor--you should check out TGS or Ralphster's IMO. Dude, turn a closet into a clean space with some plastic sheeting and a small air purifier. I have grown successfully in some dumps. If you do use the jars with a ziplock, just fan them a couple times a day. |

I had forgotten Sporeworks--excellent as well. And you are in good hands with Hippie3's bags! I believe yours will be a much happier story once you have started working with what you have bought. The sandbags are very contam-resistant for fruiting, BTW. And lots of boomers. |

PE is one of the more difficult strains for a beginner to grow. It does not necessarily fruit well from multispore, often producing only a few mature mushrooms per flush. It is also hard to get spore prints from, as the caps don't open as fully as most cubensis strains. It is possible that you got a tainted syringe; however, it is much more likely that the wet bubble came from something you did. I always blame myself before blaming a syringe made by someone who makes them for a living. One can always be a bit cleaner and more fluid in technique. It just takes practice--quite simply. GT and B+ are excellent strains. You have chosen well. And you have a treasure trove of information here. Use it well. |
