breaking up blue oyster myc?

I have a millet spawnbag i got from the sporeworks, that i inoculated with a blue oyster live culture also from sporeworks. It is colonizing really good, but the bottom half of the bag looks like it isnt at all. The myc is even running up the sides of the bag at the top all rhizo and shit. Do you think it would be cool to break it up and spread the myc out in the bag to get it to colonize the rest of the way, or is that a no no with oyster? I have no experience with oyster, but im planning on doing the newspaper/plastic bag method. Any insight would be much appreciated!

I don't see why that would be a problem. Oysters are extremely hardy and should recover from a shake quickly.

Agreed... oyster mycelium is as tough as it is aggressive.... heck, it thrives EVERYWHERE
in my backyard, especially any firewood that doesn't get combusted during the cold season.
