![]() ![]() | 2nd Flush Procedure Question
So I've done a few monotubs and all has been well, but I want to focus on getting a better pinset and better flushes. So for the 2nd flush this is what I've done and just want some advice. I dunked my bulk for a few hours and then cased it. My question is thus: after I've cased it, how long should I let it colonize for? When do I know when I should start initiate pinning? Should i treat it similar to the first flush? I cased it with straight verm. If anyone has any advice please let me know thanks!! |

It should start to colonize a bit, if you cover it. When mycelium starts to break through in a few spots on the casing layer, one can introduce light, and remove any covering, to initiate pinning... Although, verm doesn't colonize as much as coir will, so maybe just cover it for a couple days, then remove the cover and let it pin...
