| bacterial contam?
I needed to store some spawn for about a month or so for one reason or another. The spawn was in mycobags. After comeing back to use the spawn I noticed a little bit of a sweet smell. It was almost like the smell of fermentation. There was a little bit of water pooled on the bottom of the bags. The bags were fully colonized so is it likely that I would have a bacterial contam? I actually used the one rye grass seed bag for a rez effect project. It did have a little smell to it and now my incubator smells a little like bit to. Did I just create the ideal conditions for a bacterial bloom? Should I throw out my mono or what.
